I know you said we can build, but that doesn’t help those who are fishing from boats in the ocean. Since repair and salvage is child skills of fishing in mcmmo you can’t be in your base to repair and salvage all the gear you get from fishing which is what fills your inventory so quickly. while you can build it will be reset and you can’t use benefits to fish effectively in your own town or outpost you worked to build. Why can this issue not be resolved as well? I have to be is a little frustrating that when a few people complain about lag, quick changes are made to the server to help benefit those individuals. How does one avoid trident wielding drowned? And they can’t use conduits, because it will just get reset anyways and they’ll lose the stuff. The best way for fishermen to make money is fishing in a boat in the ocean. I didn’t know we were allowed to build in resource world. Would love to hear other ideas/possible solutions!Īs always, I want what's best for Shadow Kingdom, along with the staff and players that devote themselves to this community. Is there any way to allocate "/weather" to a second resource world that has no hostile mobs? Maybe make it a command that only Benefactors and Cosmos can access? This way the main world can then change to a normal weather cycle, and hopefully prevent lag. Not a huge huge deal to most, but a lot of fishers like to fish brainlessly and this kinda messes with things. However, then fishers now have to worry about fighting off all those hostile mobs that spawn with the increased spawn rates, since there is no claiming land in Resource World. If we restricted weather to Resource World, that would be a better solution than just getting rid of the command. It's already a pain to have that job, because all you do is sit and click lol.but "/weather" makes it worth it. However, this change affects benefactors and cosmos who have the fisherman job. ![]() I know it will benefit players experiencing lag if "/weather" is removed or restricted to resource. I honestly didn't notice until someone had brought it up today that "/weather storm" is getting triggered constantly (I had all rain particles and sounds off, so I was unaware). I know that the lag is getting unbearable for some players when it comes to rain. I know that if we put our heads together, we might come up with a solution that is beneficial to everyone. Just wanted to come on here and make a post so we can discuss this issue without it being lost in the discord threads.
